Thanks for visiting Elmwood East. This gives me an opportunity to share a bit about Elmwood East and help you easily access information on our website. Perhaps you noticed on our Home Page that each Campus has its own site. However, since the Elmwood East Campus is our largest and most comprehensive Campus, information about the Elmwood East Campus is incorporated throughout our website. Most information about the Elmwood West and Elmwood Central Campuses is contained on their separate sites.

Elmwood United Presbyterian Church is perhaps the only Presbyterian church with three campuses in three different cities, all under one banner, with one session, one budget, and one God-given vision - to extend our reach --- across the sanctuary, across the street, and across the sea.

The Elmwood East Campus houses the administrative offices of the Church and provides the Church's primary mailing address. We are blessed to have a staff of over twenty persons who are deeply committed to the Church and its vision. All staff members work for each of the three campuses rather than for a particular campus. Members are not members of a particular campus, but are members of Elmwood United Presbyterian Church and are free to worship at the campus of their choice. Likewise, as Senior Pastor, I am Pastor of the one church in three locations. I preach at Elmwood East most Sundays, then I am driven to Elmwood Central in Newark where I preach at the 11:30 a.m. service. When time permits, I will drop by the Elmwood West campus for the first thirty minutes of their service which is usually led by my assistant, Minister Hodari Williams. I endeavor to preach at least quarterly at the St. Cloud location.

Since we stumbled upon the multi-site model, we have no prescribed road map that we are following. We are building the bridge and painting it at the same time. One of the innovations we are currently considering is simulcasting. When completed, this will enable each campus to see and hear the same message each Sunday while maintaining the unique culture of each location. I solicit and appreciate your prayers for our ministry. I also welcome the opportunity to answer questions or share information concerning the operation and ministry of Elmwood Church. I also invite you to view the webcasts of our services here at Elmwood East and at Elmwood Central. We hope to begin webcasting from Elmwood West in the very near future.
