WORSHIP & GROWTH

The Elmwood United Presbyterian Church is one church in threelocations. Elmwood East, the main location worships each Sunday at 9:30 a.m., and during the summer at 9:00 a.m. only. Sunday Worship is warm and lively. Sermons are both inspirational and practical so that congregants are able to apply their faith in everyday situations. Music offered is among the best one can find in the Northeast. The G-fy-G Mass Youth Choir is known throughout the Northeast and beyond for its outstanding performance. The Choir placed first place in the McDonald's Gospelfest in 2003, 2005 and 2006, and the Pathmark Gospel Fest in 2004. Sunday worship begins with a time of singing and praise offered by the Shabach Praise Team East and the praise band. On occasion worship is supplemented by the use of the Angelic Praize Team Dance Ministry and the Elmwood Drama Ministry.
