 As we embark on a new year, we expect continued ministry, spiritual growth, and just plain ol' fun in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
This year we will explore the possibility of starting a youth church designed to present the same God-focused message that is provided in a "regular" worship experience but remixed for a teen and pre-teen audience.
Our 2008 Back 2 School Youth Retreat is scheduled for Saturday, August 30th-Monday, September 1st.
We are committed to providing fellowship opportunities for youth and adults from all three campuses. To that end, we will continue to host bus rides, fashion and talent shows, karaoke nights, spoken word and open microphone nights, basketball games, community service projects, and much much more!!
Elmwood is focused on growing young people in Christ and our young people
are on fire and on the move. There is never a dull moment!!
We encourage all youth and young adults of Elmwood Church, whether you worship at Elmwood East, West or Central, to take advantage of the many ministry opportunities available to you; and to invite your friends!!

Angelic Praize Liturgical Dance
Ministry
This group of young middle school
to college age students meet every Tuesday at 6:00PM
for rehearsal and bible study.
Children's Choir
The
Children's Choir meets weekly for rehearsal and ministers
each month during worship. Children between the ages
of 4 - 13 are welcome.
Glorify God Mass Choir (G-fy-G)
This group of youth and young adults ages 14-25 meets
weekly for rehearsal. In addition to ministering during
Elmwood worship services, the group has toured nationally
and performs for civic and community groups.
GLOW (Glorious Ladies of Worth)
GLOW is a mentoring group and step
team for young girls ages 12-18. The group meets twice
per month.
The Kairos Movement
The Kairos Movement
(college & young adult ministry) provides religious
and social networking opportunities for young adults
(Ages 20's - 30's).
Living Proof
Living Proof provides religious, recreational and community
service opportunities for youth in the church in the
West Orange community.
Scouting Ministry: Boy/Cub/Girl Scouts
Our scouting ministries
inspire participants by helping them to build character,
develop personal fitness, and to participate in training
for responsible citizenship.
Spirit of Fire Teen Ministry
Spirit of Fire Teen Ministry hosts educational enrichment
programs for youth in the church and community.

here are a few bible study opportunities:
Elmwood Sunday School
Sunday School is held every 2nd and 4th Sunday
of the month at Elmwood East during the 9:30am service.
Sunday School is open to all children grades PreK-6th.
Soul Food
This weekly bible study, for Soul Food ministry,
held every Tuesday at Elmwood East.
Youth Power Hour
This youth/young adult bible study which focuses on
growing young people physically, mentally, spiritually
and emotionally, meets every Wednesday from 6:45-8:00PM.
